Oops… but i'm back
Okey dokey, lookey here. I've been busy ok and I feel bad okay and.. and any secrets I have are already out so i'll go through the updates real quick like, so as not to bore you to sleep: after my Muvhango contract lapsed, I was signed by one of SA's top shows, Isidingo. The ride has been a long and at times bumpy one as I was still figuring out who this man, Khaya Gumede, is and adjusting to all the PR i've been put through. With the kind help and guidance from the amazing directors and support from the rest of the team, I got through it all and now am stronger and wiser for it. Thanks to them for believing in me and allowing me to do this thing i've been put here on earth to do. An even bigger thanks to all the fans of the show who have welcomed me with open arms and my friends and fam who are my rock. Before I get all soapie-like on yall (get it? soapie-like… yea it sounded funnier in my head, sorry), here's to bigger and better things to come, both on Isidingo and with the film i'm in (premiering November 24th 2010, cough cough, eish something in my throat, more secrets muhahaha). Please don't hesitate to tell me your opinion or just say hi and never, ever, ever forget: tell a friend.peace.

Update
So my 1-a-month policy isn't working out too well, but hey it's a good thing because i've been busy busy busy and now I have news for you. As you should know by now, i've been on Muvhango for about a month now as "Kutlwano Mabitsela". It really feels great to have people believe in you and what you do; so to all the directors and producers and everyone else involved, thank you, I really appreciated it… what's that… past tense… yes my run on Muvhango has indeed come to an end. Worry not dear followers, i'll be moving to another soapie (airing from the 2nd of September… remember remember the 2nd of September!). In other news, the episode I shot on "Wild at Heart" aired the other day :) it's a funny part of this job but sometimes it happens that you'll shoot something and it'll only air or premiere a year or so later, not funny 'ha ha' funny 'hmm'. Also, i'll be shooting my 2010 photo reel soon, so if you have any ideas (clothing, poses, locations you'd like to see me in), holler… anyways …its time for me to get back to working on these new scripts, don't worry, I won't be 'Gone 'til November' again this time, so keep checking in, keep well and don't forget…tell a friend!

Last month a bunch of my theatre group friends and i marveled in the magic of the Academy Awards. This event has a large part of the world in a frenzy annually and as you can imagine, we were glued to the screens like a group of 5-year-olds watching the latest animated movie. Due to time zone difference, we had to stay up to watch the awards, which we were more than ready to do; anything to stoke the fire of that dream we birthed when we ourselves were 5-year-olds (or earlier). This was one of the reasons I haven't a post for March, sorry fans. But not to worry as the other reason will more than make up for time lost. I was on location, shooting on the latest film i am in… you thought I was gonna tell you the name of the film, didn't you? haha, in due time…but for now, i'll tell you i'm very proud of the work we were able to get in the can and hopefully, you'll enjoy it. Many thanks to all that supported me and believed in me and not to forget yall who follow me, many many thanks. You're one of the main reasons I do this. til next time- peace... tell a friend...

Big Announcement
Okay yall, here it is and this is all I can say for now. I have landed a part in a local soapie and will soon start filming. I can't say more than that beacause of contractual reasons, but I didn't wanna leave you in the lurch and just pop up on your Tv screen without warning. I'll tell you when I first air and the official press release will follow. Thanks for all your support and remember, tell a friend. Peace

Getting ink done
I'll be getting ink done soon. A big word in my life- "LEKHOLOKOE" (my clan name) across my shoulder blades. Pics will follow...tell a friend. Peace
The 'Lee' thing
So everyone's been askin: "what's up with the 'Lee' thing...why Lee...". Truth be told, its not me trying to be cool or unique. Half the people I encounter can pronounce and remember my name, no problem, the other half can barely jot it down correctly while i'm reciting it. That still doesn't answer the question: "why Lee" does it? Okay cool. Google Lee Strasberg; basically, one of the most influential acting coaches ever. Many public figures use stage names and many of them take them from other famous people who inspired them...add 2 and 2 together and now you know why Lee. Not changing my ID; I am very very sotho and proud of it. Lee is here to help those without the tongue dexterity to pronounce or the time or respect to learn how to spell my name. Also avoiding having to spend time in Leshasa's trailer or sit in Lehasee's director's chair, know what I mean? Feel free to leave your opinion and remember, tell a friend. Peace
